We are pleased to announce that the OurWeather Kit has successfully been funded on Kickstarter at 138%.    We now start the process of getting the rewards ready to ship out in the month of April.

We will be releasing this (and the WeatherPlus board) as a standard SwitchDoc Labs products in mid-April, so stay tuned.

 

OurWeather is a connected weather station containing 10 different sensors to teach STEM kids about electronics, software and theunspecified-8 copy weather.   It contains all the sensors and wires to make a fully functional, WiFi weather station.   No software programming is required, it works right out of the box.   However, if you want to change the way OurWeather works, add your own software or do something entirely different, we have the Open Source software available.   And what is one of the coolest features of OurWeather?   Building the kit requires NO SOLDERING.    It is all plug and play based building, with a full step-by-step photograph based instruction manual.  It is a safe and educational way to learn about the weather and STEM topics.

OurWeather comes with the new SwitchDoc Labs WeatherPlus board designed exclusively for OurWeather.   The Weather Plus board comes with an ESP8266 computer with a built in WiFi and I2C interfaces.   Very cool.   Think of what you can build with this kit!
